A travel registry is a particular type of gifting wish list (like a wedding or honeymoon registry) where the recipient compiles a list of travel related items and experiences they wish to receive and then hands it out to family and friends who can gift those items and make travel dreams come true.
To get started, create an account or log into your account and select a travel destination and identify a timeline for your registry to remain live and a schedule to receive your travel funds.
Curated travel vendors will appear from that area and you can browse and select any curated items to add to your registry. For example, one sunset horseback ride for two. You can add multiple requests of an item such as museum ticket x2.
Uncurated items can be added as well but those generic items will fall under a 5% service fee. Curated items have no service fee since we share the booking fee with our curated travel partners.
You can also add travel related items from our TravelGenie Amazon store such as travel books or luggage. You will need to add a payment account so we can send you your travel funds. Vendors will send certificates for their services.
Customize the look and feel of your registry with colors and fonts and then add your story and a photo or video of yourself to get your donors excited about your trip.
Now that you have all the elements, you can share your registry with others via email, facebook and twitter so your genies can donate to your trip and make your travel wishes come true!
Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people, typically via the internet. At TravelGenie, you’ll be able to create a crowdfund campaign around a travel destination for yourself, your school or church group!
Create an account or log in.
Define your fund raising goal and a deadline for reaching those funds. This will create a visual indicator of funds towards your goal and a countdown clock.
You can also add travel related items from our TravelGenie Amazon store such as travel books. You will need to add a payment account so we can send your travel funds.
Customize the look and feel of your page with colors and fonts. Complete your campaign with photos and your story or a video funding pitch to get your donors excited about your campaign.
Now that you have all the elements, you can share your campaign with others via email, facebook and twitter so your genies can donate to your trip and make your travel wishes come true!

Travel Booking Services – Our certified travel agents will find you the best deal around. Once your registry or campaign is final, let us take care of the hassle of booking your trip. And you don’t have to wait for a special trip wish, our concierge travel agents can book any business or personal travel need.

For registry donations, just select one or more items from your friend or family members’ registry list and add it to your shopping cart. Checking out is easy! We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.
For campaign donations, click on the donate button on your friend or family member’ campaign and select a predefined amount or enter your own amount. Your payment will be processed through our system and the funds will be delivered to the recipient at their designated campaign close date. We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.
Curated registry items are services or items that are associated with one of our select premium travel partners. We have made every effort to research and contract partners with high qualilty companies that can offer a wide selection of experiences in different price ranges. These regsitry items have a curated designation to indicate their status. When a curated registry item is fulfilled, you will receive a gift certificate from our travel partner to book that experience. As always, you can reach out to our Concierge Services to complete your registry booking for you.
An Uncurated Registry Items represents a service or item that is not associated with one of our travel partners. It promotes the kind of service or experience you want to include in your dream trip but donors are providing the dollar amount of the item not actually purchasing the service or experience for you. All donations associated with uncurated registry items fall under our service fee.
